Every event is a special one! I specialize in custom created cakes, including carved and topsy turvy designed cakes. When planning your cake order, please remember to estimate the maximum number of guests, have a basic idea of what you want your cake to look like, have a budget in mind, flavors desired, and whether you plan to pick up the cake or have it delivered. Please know that prices reflect a cake custom designed just for you, with fresh ingredients - not a pre-made frozen then defrosted product. Please, please allow at least 2 to 3 weeks order time for a special occasion cake, and at least 1 to 2 months for a topsy turvy or carved cake order. Some dates are already reserved, so please contact me well in advance.

 

Prices vary per cake as there are so many different factors that determine the final cost. Design, flavor, number of people, size, and decorations to start off.  Time, design, choice of ingredients, and complexity of the cake structure are the most costly factors in determining the final price of a cake. I recommend to setup a free consultation to discuss the cake you desire most.

CAKES FOR ANY OCCASION: Simply stacked decorated cakes with decadent fillings can create a wonderful all occasion cake. Perhaps a 3-Dimensional, tiered/stacked, and fondant sculpted cake into a design of your choice? Most anything can be created out of cake!

SPECIAL EVENT CAKE ORDERS:  The ideal scenario is to schedule a free consultation and tasting with me to determine all elements required to accurately quote. Please be prepared with the following:

  • Number of guests
  • Cake design (bring pictures of cakes you like)
  • Flavors of cake and fillings
  • Cake table decor
  • Pertinent information - the date, time of the reception and setup time, address, contact at event site
  • Deposit of $100 at the time of ordering - no deposit, no date guarantee ($50 cash deposit required for pillars and bases, refundable upon return. More elaborate setups require a $100 deposit.)
  • Final cash payment due 1 week prior to the wedding date. If by check - 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.
  • Discounts? Please do not ask for a discount. All cakes are reasonably priced and reflect the quality ingredients, time, and effort involved in creating a fabulous cake. (If you are on a tight budget, I would suggest looking into a grocery store bakery, as their pricing is quite low, and I cannot compete with them.)

**** Minimum special event cake order is $500 - no matter the size. Please remember, all my cakes are custom and designed especially for you. Delivery can be extra. 

**** If you are looking for a "ball park" price, please figure that a custom cake STARTS at $3.75 for a buttercream cake (however, minimum order is $500). Please do not e-mail me to get exact pricing, as I will need to meet with you in person to determine all above PLUS see a design or picture of the cake you are wanting.

All About the Cake: There are many "fancy" names for cakes out there. My most popular cakes are American style sweet. European type cakes are more dense and have a bread-like texture. They may seem dry to some, but really that is what a European style cake is. With that said, you will want to choose between an American or European cake, then the flavors, fillings and frostings.  Below is a small listing of "regular" popular cake flavors, fillings and frostings to choose from. Any combination can be achieved, so please ask if you have a favorite combo:

Most Popular Combinations:

  • Chocolate Cake (dark chocolate, German chocolate, Suisse chocolate) filled with vanilla whipped, chocolate mousse, and pecan/coconut
  • Vanilla Cake (French vanilla, vanilla bean, vanilla silk white cake) filled with strawberry or raspberry filling and vanilla whipped 
  • Lemon Cake (Well - it is just plain lemon) filled with a delectable English lemon curd
  • Butter cake (yellow butter cake, European butter yellow cake) filled with buttercream
  • Spice Cake (Cinnamon spice, Spice/Apple, Pumpkin Spice, Nutmeg Spice) filled with a spiced cream cheese filling

** Please note: Gluten-free, egg-free, and other specialty ingredient cakes are at an extra charge and not included in what is offered above.

Icings:

  • Buttercream (vanilla or chocolate)
  • Non-Dairy Whipped (vanilla or chocolate)
  • Fondant (Fondarific)

***** Fondant covered cakes will not be filled with fresh fruit, mousse, or whipped cream. Fondant can be flavored to match or compliment cake flavor.

Ordering and pricing:

All cakes are created custom - just for you. "Ballpark" Pricing starts at $3.75/serving and goes up from there, especially if it is a special design, carved cake, or themed cake.

All orders must be placed at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance. Delivery is not included in the price.

CUSTOM CREATED CUPCAKES, INDIVIDUAL CAKES, ROSE TRAYS, COOKIES AND WEDDING FAVORS: 

  • Individually Decorated Mini Cakes
  • Decorated Cupcake trays of 12 and 24
  • Candy-filled Buttercream Roses Tray (25 Roses)
  • Cookie Favors - individually wrapped cookie (cookies are a sugar/shortbread, completely decorated, and placed in a cookie bag with tie.)

Pricing is determined by complexity of decorations.

Orders and Payment: 

Bookings are made on a first come, first pay basis. Your date will be reserved once a non-refundable deposit is made. For 3-D and wedding cake orders, $100 minimum non-refundable deposit is required. Special occasion cakes require $50 non-refundable deposit. Full payment must be made 2-days prior to delivery for wedding cakes. Check, cash or money order is accepted. Delivery charges may apply.
